1932 Ford roadster Hot Rod Body and perimeter chassis package, this is a newly redesigned body fresh out of the new Street fiberglass molds! This is the most affordable quality body/frame package available period! This body was crafted for the do it yourselfer with limited skills and a low budget! We have done all the hard work and tried to make this kit as easy and as affordable as possible, we too, as hot rodders have seen our beloved Hobbie go way out of the normal working man's budget, and have decided to make something truly affordable without sacrificing quality! Body Characteristics

. body was channeled 3 inches

. door was stretched 2.5 inches from stock to make it easier to get in and out especially with a chopped convertible top.

. rear deck (area Infront of rear decklid) was moved back 3 inches for more leg room

. dash was widened 1.5 inch to cover more of the firewall area on the inside and contoured to flow into the doors

. exterior firewall area was recessed 2 inches for more engine clearance and more options, especially with blown big blocks

. features working vent, for a more traditional look

. body floor has 14-gauge steel sheet, laminated in between the fiberglass floor for the through bolt to frame rigidity

. inner firewall has a 16-gauge round and square tubbing. structure bonded to the firewall and door hinge area to mount steering.

. Only one of its kind, in any fiberglass body, full 1-5/8 mild steel round tube structure, installed for driver safety and protection

. Oak bonded into door jam and hinge area for ease of installing upholstery

. vintage look style latch and catch installed

. exposed door hinges for original style look

. exposed rear deck lid hinges, and original style latch and lever for a more original feel than completely smooth look

. will fit stock windshield frame and bolt in just like original or any windshield frame made to fit an original 32 roadster including Duvall windshield frames

Chassis specs

. full fabricated jig welded 2x4 -1/8 wall square tubing, from the firewall back and CNC cut and welded front frame rails mimicking the original shape and design but with lighting holes for that cool hot rod fabricated chassis look for fender-less roadsters

. fabricated 1 inch dropped front leaf spring crossmember installed and rear Complete fabricated and cad designed and cnc cut 4 link coil over rear suspension brackets installed and welded in the chassis, bars with poly bushed ends and differential brackets and coil over mounts included

. under floor brake master cylinder mount bracket installed in chassis, pedal included

. full 1.5 inch 1/8-wall x member fully welded with trans crossmembers included

Purpose design vision

This body and chassis were designed with ease of assembly and budget in mind as an open wheel roadster with no hood or fenders, and currently not an option, as mentioned earlier, for the simple man that

wants to build a hot rod in his garage with his hand tools that can do most of the mechanical work himself, this is NOT intended as a high end project designed to win the Americas most beautiful roadster show and sell for 100K, but it is built to drive and enjoy for a very long time in Americas most beautiful roads by real hot rodders that enjoy the ride more than the car shows.
